Prof. Dr. Bernd Kriegesmann – Head of the Institute
Born 1963, Dipl.-oec., Dr. rer. oec. He studied Economics at the Ruhr-University Bochum, was a Research Fellow at the Institute for Applied Innovation Research (IAI) Bochum 1989-1991, Subject Specialist at the Federal Ministry for Research and Technology (innovation promotion) 1991-1993, Chief Executive of the IAI 1993 - February 2000, Professor of Business Administration at Gelsenkirchen University of Applied Sciences March 2000 until July 2008, since 2002 Chairman of the IAI, and since August 2008 President of Westfälische Hochschule and since 2010 Head of the Institute for Innovation Research and Management (ifi).
Member of various working groups and committees. Author of numerous professional publications, editor of Berichte aus der angewandten Innovationsforschung (Reports on Applied Innovation Research), as well as the series Innovation: Forschung und Management (Innovation: Research and Management) of the IAI.
