"Fair.be": a Social Mobility Concept from the Ruhr Region - 12/02/2020
With the vehicle concept Fair.be, ifi's Helen Kessel and Michael Roch want to offer a solution for a more sustainable mobility design and to increase opportunities to participate in electromobile individual transport.

Fair.be builds on developments from the collaborative project "RS1 Mobil" by designing a "bicycle car" that condenses the advantages of both vehicle classes. The two-lane covered pedelec, equipped with storage space and room for another person with luggage, offers users the opportunity to get around on bike paths or in city centers without a driver's license.
With their project, the team was also able to convince the expert jury of the START-UP Transfer.NRW funding project and have been given the opportunity to evaluate and further develop their business model over the next 1 ½ years.
